Reverence 2 is a beautiful original oil painting of a polar bear atop an ice floe. The dance of the northern lights highlights this wonderful bear. The northern lights aren’t really these colours but I have used my artistic license to emphasis the powerful emotion of witnessing the aurora and a polar bear hold! I had some fun using a red background to create against and I left the edges red. The red that peaks through the painting and on the edges symbolizes how we are connected to this bear through lifeline and love.

The painting is pretty, but the polar bear is on a small ice flow surrounded by dark water. We are to remember that it is the frozen sea this bear needs to survive.
